West Caribbean Cruise - Freedom of The Seas (Blog 10 of 11)

Freedom of The Seas is registered in Nassau, Bahamas.  It was built in 2006 and it can hold 3500+ passengers.  There are over 1000 crew members on the ship and they came from 65 countries.  There are 14 decks in total and it has a lot of facilities like spa, casino, ice-skating rink, 3D movie theater, library...etc, so if you are bored, there is always some activities for you.  =)

Freedom of The Seas.  This is not the top line of the Royal Caribbean ship but I chose to cruise with it 'coz it stops at 4 ports while the top line (Allure of The Seas) only stops at 3 Caribbean ports.

There are 4 of these 'balls' on the ship which I don't know what they are...

Rock climbing wall and basketball court, deck 12.

Mini golf course, deck 12

This is their logo.

Running/jogging track + water park, deck 11 & 12.

A glance at their promenade, deck 5.

They have these 'signs' in every deck so you know where you are located easily.

A very nice stair case, deck 3 & 4.

They also have all sorts of decor everywhere in the ship.

Deck 4, a place where I usually hang out to get fresh breeze (it's kinda hot here though).

They have different activities like wine tasting, jewelery sale, food tasting...etc from time to time on deck 5 in the promenade.  PS, this wine taste good, which I think we can only get it from the Caribbean.

This is the other side of the promenade, deck 5.

You can also find these fine arts everywhere on board.

These information kiosk is on every deck.

Another shot at the promenade

Art decor

Crystal clear water, and the ocean is blue in color!

When I was in Hong Kong...the sea water was green and it stinks badly...  Here the ocean is blue in color and there is no bad smell at all...I'm in paradise! =)

This is the front of the ship, I shot this view on deck 5.  (You have to exit from deck 4 and walk up to deck 5)

Shower ahead of us.

Helicopter landing pad, deck 5.

Nice sunny day out there, see those clouds reflection on the ocean?  Nice huh!

The water is soooo blue~~~~~~~~~~~

Sunset

This is the other side of the sunset.  Mist started to develop and the water is getting dark.

This is the corridor leads to our stateroom, deck 6.

Surprise~~~~  This is what I got when I got back to my stateroom after dinner.

Casino.  Don't think we can take pictures in casino...so I just snapped and go.  Deck 4.

Flow rider.  This ship offers surfing on board.  Deck 12.

This is the instructor and he is super professional!!

He is very patient with every single surfer.

You keep playing 'til you fall.  If you felt but the surf board is still floating, you can get back on it and continue surfing 'til you fall.

This grandpa is a very good surfer, he surfs better than any youngsters here.

Surf board is done, now they are playing some other boards...  (I don't know the name...)

The is another instructor and he is good at playing this board.  The 1st instructor had to leave and go rest 'coz someone hit his foot with a surfboard...this guy replaced him...

Wow!!

Cool!

Saw this 'bat' hanging from the ceiling when I headed back to my room after dinner on the next night.

Tones of beach chairs~~

More beach chairs here on deck 12.

Library, deck 7.

Another nice decor

I usually stay here on deck 4 'coz it's more quiet and it's closer to my stateroom.

It must be a restaurant up there?!  Or maybe it's a chapel?!  No clue...

They have Johnny Rockets on board too, but you have to pay extra to dine there.  Deck 12

We can see the captain's view from the TV too!  =)

We can see where we are at too!

The ship was doing this mini lunch thing on deck 5 the day before our disembarkment.
