Downtown Disney Marketplace, Orlando

Downtown Disney Marketplace is located at 1780 East Buena Vista Dr., Orlando.  The main reason why I visited this place is because they have a Lego store there.  There are a lot of restaurants in Downtown Disney and you have a lot of dining options to choose from.  Parking and admission are free at this market place,  so it's nice to stop by and spend a nice afternoon here.

Here I come Walt Disney World Resort.

 Downtown Disney Marketplace。

T-Rex, one of the restaurant in this Disney district.

???!!  This bird is taking a sunbath?!!

I've never seen a bird taking sunbath like this...  Well, this is a double-crested cormorant.  Its feathers are not waterproof so it must spend time drying them out after spending time in the water.

There are a lot of places to take pictures in this marketplace.

 Another eatery.

There are 3 piers in the area offering complementary boat service between East and West of the marketplace.

 Paradiso 37, another eatery place.

 This is our boat captain.

 East side of the marketplace.

 Pier at the East side.

 Crab house, another eatery.

You can pay and ride on the air balloon.

 Disney Quest

 Sounds fun!

 House of Blues

 A very nostalgic water tower.

 A shot of the marketplace.

I don't know what's inside as I didn't have much time to go into every single store.

 AMC theater.

Wolfgang Puck, a very famous chef in the States.

Another shot of the street view.

Halloween is getting close, so they've created these Halloween sour apples.

 Mickey & Minnie sour apples.

Birds are everywhere and they are not scare of people!

 Planet Hollywood.

Pleasure Island, part of the Disney Marketplace.

 Toy shop.

 Another toy shop.

 More toy shops.

...It's pretty hard to see the Mickey Mouse here...

 More toy stores.

Guess what, these figures are built from thousands of Lego.

Woody, built from Lego pieces too.

 Different types of Lego products.

These things doesn't seem hard to built.

This space shuttle set costs $30!

 More Lego products.

 Lego mugs.

Buzz light year built from Lego.

I specifically wanna come to this Lego place because I saw something like this online.

I guess these are rare Lego pieces which you don't see it in every Lego box.

There are a whole wall of these rare pieces to choose from.

Flowers, I remembered they have these flowers in yellow as well.  I used to play Lego when I was young but not anymore now...  =)

This is another side of the Lego wall.

These are just ordinary pieces I guess.

I've never seen these grey pieces before...

This dragon is built from Lego as well!

A closer shot of the dragon.

 Woody & Buzz light year.

This kind of bird is everywhere in Florida!!
