花花世界 - 第四彈

I guess this will be my last batch of flower pictures.  I took these pictures mostly from a garden nursery in Markham.  Mom likes going to this place to get her plants because they have a lot of varieties and sometimes you will see plants that no other places sell.  I like going to this nursery too because it's pretty huge and I can spend a nice afternoon there.

Sunflower 向日葵

I don't know what this plant is, and in fact, I don't even know why I took this picture...

Flower bulb.  This will bloom a nice purple flower, which of course, I don't know the name of that plant...  I find this bulb cute 'coz it's in pentagon shape.

I don't know the name of this plant...I just know it belongs to a cactus family.

I find this flower cute 'coz it looks like as if it has a cap.

This is not an elephant ear for sure, but I guess it belongs to the same family?!

First time seeing one single stem of flower has three different colors!  Cool!

This plant reminds me of Christmas.

A very common 'wild' flower I see everywhere in Hong Kong in the city or at the hill side.  Indeed, we have to 'pay' to get this flower here in Canada!

I don't know what this plant is, but for sure Mom has bought it.

This plant is cool!  Looks like something you can eat....

This bunch of plant looks like baby greens to me....although for sure I know it's not eatable.

I was actually focusing on the bumble bee in this picture...and I'm afraid it will sting me when I get too close...

Miniature Hosta

This plant actually looks pretty cute in a pot.

This nursery garden is somewhere at Warden Ave.  Don't really remember where it is because it's kinda north.

This is a morning glory.

Ivy

I find these pots very pretty.  Just don't know what sort of plants do they put inside.

Here is a closer shot of one of the pot.

This is what Mom has bought that day.

Flower bulb, forgot what kind of flower it is.

I think these decorations are pretty cute, so I took a picture of them.  I found them in the Sheridan Garden at the Lawrence location.

I always wonder what do people use these things for....decorations??  Or they actually plant something with it?

I always like taking pictures of leafs with water drops on it.  =)

Bonsai.

First time seeing a blue Orchid, so I snap and go.

These are my Mom's home grown orchid.  She is very proud of it and always ask me to take picture of it...

I don't really like orchid myself, so I can't tell if it's nice or not...  @@

This is another specie, that's all I can tell...

  1. I read your post about your aunt's flower. I am not an expert. But I was told by someone who does a lot of gardening that you have to feed it just like yourself. So, perhaps you can tell you aunt to give the plants blooming flower plant food.
