Wild Willy's Airboat Tours, Osceola

Wild Willy's Airboat Tours is located at the dead end of Co. Rd. 525, which is not too far from Kissimmee.  It's my first time riding the airboat and the tour wasn't too bad...I got a chance to see the gator in the wild and hold a juvenile gator at the end of the tour.  Yet, I was expecting the airboat to be riding through swamps rather than marshlands or lakes.  Well, one hour's ride is only $39 and you can get $5 off with coupon, not bad!  =)

Wild Willey's Airboat Tours is located in a very nice area.

Here it is, this place is not very big.

 A tiny little gator

This is a real gator head

 Key chains

This is the view outside the store

Airboats.  Unlike other larger airboat companies which their airboat can hold up to 30 people, Wild Willy's airboat can only hold 6 people, which is a good thing because you will have more interact with the captain.

Here is another shot of the airboat

Sky is blue and the water is clear, you can see the reflection in the water easily

Okay, we are riding out of the channel.

See the reflections in the water?  So beautiful!

Our airboat site is near Lake Tohopekaliga I think.

 Marshland everywhere...

This might be a great blue heron....not 100% sure

A closer shot of the bird

 Marshland & lily pond

That bird is still here after the boat has turned around!!

Endless marshland.  Our airboat was flying through these grass here!!  =)

 More lily pond.

 See the gator here?

This is her nest and you won't notice she is there 'till you look closer.

Here is a closer shot.  I was told that this is a mother gator...I was expecting it to be larger in size...

 Dragon fly

 This is a beautiful lake

...it's peaceful and quiet!!  Nice!  =)

 Another shot of the marshland

See those red thing there on the stem?!  Guess what they are!!

 Cat tails?!

There are so many birds here in the marshland, but it`s pretty hard to get a shot of the flying bird...

These water are actually very shallow!

 ...probably 1ft deep that`s it!

See that grasshopper there (that brown thing)?  It`s was riding with us!!  =)

This is a huge lake!!  Marshlands here are endless!

Must be those double crested cormorant again!

Trying to take a shot of the bird while it's flying

This is more like the 'lake' ride.  Riding on the lake is very bumpy, the airboat must ride on the marshland I figured.

 The scenic here is beautiful

A closer shot of the channel

 Lily pads I guess

 Endless marshland!!

A closer shot of the lily pads...are these lily pads??!!

This is the end of the channel and we had to turn around

It's time to go back now...

OKay, see the baby gator here??!

Look closer, it's in the middle of the pic.  We found this gator here by luck...

 Another shot of the marshland

Captain Frank was doing some wicked turns on the marshland

 See the rainbow?!  =)

Cattle coming from nearly by farms to take a rest at the marshland.

You wouldn't really expect the airboat can ride through these grass here huh!

 Trees grown within the marshlands?!

I forgot the name of this bird but Captain Frank said this is a rare bird, some sort of Heron?!

 Another shot of the tree

Well, I've tried my best to zoom in and take a picture of this rare bird...but my camera can't do much zooming...

A closer shot of the grasshopper

 Lily pond flower

I always think lily pads are beautiful~

 Here is a closer shot

It's nice to take a ride in the marshland....

...but mind you, since this is a marshland, there a lot of insects flying around...spiders, love bugs, grasshoppers and some that you wouldn't know what they are....

If the boat is going slow or idle, then those bugs will jump into your boat or fly in front of you, which is gross already....but if the boat is going fast, be prepare that those bugs will smash into your face!!

Okay, back to my previous question.  So have you figure out what these red things are??

Here is a closer shot!!  These are snail eggs!!!  Ewwwww........!!  The snail is as big as a size of an apple...I can't believe it!!  When Capt. Frank picked this for me to have a closer look (he saw that I was taking picture of it), I nearly freaked out!!

A beautiful lily pond flower that Capt. Frank picked for me.  =)

Love bugs...  Ewwwwww..........I think this thing hit my face hard when the airboat was flying through the marshland...

We're heading back to the channel now...

...and saw two big birds.  Cranes I guess?!

We got a chance to hold the gator at the end of our tour...

...and I was expecting the gator to be at least doubled of this size...
