Sesame Glazed Almonds

These sesame glazed almonds are easy to make and they're great snacks too!  I've made these before following an online recipe and their steps were so complicated!  Below is my Mom's version and she makes it seem so easy.  I guess you should know my Mom well by now, she doesn't like following measurements (except for baking cakes)!  Other than almonds, this recipe can apply to other stuff too I guess?!  Eg, peanut, walnut and pecan perhaps?!

Ingredients: * Note that there is no measurement at all, Mom just added whatever amount she likes here.

Almond                  Balsamic Vinegar                   Honey                    Sesame Seed                  Oil (a little)

First, put the almonds into the oven and roast them until they're crunchy.  (I don't know how long or in what temperature do they have to be roasted for...)

In a saucepan, heat up honey and balsamic vinegar.  Add more honey if you want your almonds to be sweeter.

Add almonds into the saucepan once the sauce starts boiling.

Keep stirring using medium heat.

Here is a closer shot at the almonds.

Once all the sauce is gone, these almonds are done.

Transfer them to a baking pan.

Spread them out.

Preheat oven at 400°F, bake almonds for 5 minutes.

Once done, take the tray out and mix almonds together.

Spread them out again and spring them with sesame.  Put them back into the over again and bake for another 5 minutes at 400°F.

Take the tray out and mix almonds again once done.  Spread them out, let them cool.

Here is a closer shot.

Once its cool, separate almonds into pieces.

Mom had made over 5 pounds of these in a short period of time!!

Here is another close shot.

Done!  =)
