Loblaws at Maple Leaf Gardens, Toronto

One of the main purpose of my trip today is to visit this newly opened Loblaws at the Maple Leaf Gardens (NW corner of Church St. & Carlton St.).  They have everything under one roof and there are three levels in this Loblaws: lower level is a parking lot where you can get 1 free hour of parking with any purchase of $18 or more.  The main level is the grocery store while the upper level is a  cooking school, LCBO and Loblaws' own brand - Joe, fashion boutique.

This Loblaws just opened on Nov 30!

We still need to line up in order to get into the store.

This is just a corner of the superstore.

 There are 18 cashiers here!!

There is a section where they sell fresh flowers.

Some flowers are so rare that I've never seen before...

This looks like a bunch of messy grass...

Loblaws has a section here for T&T selling sushi.

Here is their grill section .

Grilling steaks and roasting chickens here.

 Assorted cold cuts

Love those prosciutto in the fridge!!  Mmmmm...

I think they have over 50 kinds of cold cuts here!!

The amazing wall of cheese~  Waaaaa.......!!

 More cheese!!

Extraordinary selection of cheeses available by the full wheel, half wheel or chunk!!

They have over 400 varieties of cheese from around the globe to choose from.

You can have a piece of cheese cut specially to size if you like.

I've never see that many kind of cheese in my life.  This is only part of it!!

 Bread baked by Ace Bakery.

They have a logo on some of their famous bread.

I wish I can bake something like this at least...

 Assorted bagels

These two chefs are placing thinly sliced potatoes on the bread.

Look how nice these breads are!!

 Here is their cake section.

Assorted cup cakes!

 Chocolates~~~~~

 Looks yum!!!  =)

 Salad bar~

 More salad

You can create your own salad too!!

This is only a corner of the superstore.

 Fresh in-pot parsley.

 Assorted mushrooms

Their cooking school is right above the bakery section.

Seafood section.  Their seafood section is kinda small.

Here is part of the seafood they're selling.

Grade AAA aged beef in the fridge.

 Snacks

Going up to the second floor.

 Here is the LCBO....

 ...and Joe fashion.

If you are a hockey fan, you may know what this red spot is...  I was told that this is where the Stanley Cup used to stands...

Downstairs is a parking lot.  It's so cool, they have an escalator for customers (left), and next to it is a 'cartvayor' for your shopping carts.

On my way home, traffic jam on DVP.

 影相 OK,食就 no no!

 老公吃得好滋味...

 就算是這一小塊蠔,我都絕對不能接受!!

 EWWWWWW!!

 他在幾分鐘內已把所有蠔食清!

...這是我今晚的晚餐...
